Havering Police Top in London

Havering Police provide the best service to Victims of Crime in London for the second year in a row.  Inspector John Fish from the Citizen Focus Department said that we make sure that the victims of crime receive the best possible service from the Police Service and their partner agencies.  It is good to hear that our Police are successful!

Home from Uni!

The other weekend two students at University came home for the weekend.  Their parents were pleased to see them, but their mothers weren’t too pleased to see the pile of washing!!

Congratulations to Molly

This week the Havering College gave an award to Molly for academic excellence in the business and care sector. This is quite a prestigious award and it was totally unexpected  by all the family.  Molly you have surprised them all!  Congratulations!  Please continue the good work!

Application for The Green to become a Village Green

We are in the process of submitting an application to the Havering Council for The Green to be designated as a Village Green.  This means that we can use the area for all kinds of community activities without having to obtain permission from the authorities.  The application will go in the of name of Jan Hickey, as it was her who came up with the idea.  Several residents have written statements outlining the use of the area over the last 60+ years.  We will update you as things progress.
